Sevenberry from Robert Kaufman – Dressmaking – Cotton Flax (Linen) – Small Birds – Grey Black

A new dressmaking fabric to add to our steadily growing range.
This is a blend of cotton and flax (linen), giving a cool and comfortable natural fibre fabric, with a pleasing weight and drape. The natural fibres mean that the fabric is comfortable in the hottest weather and the presence of cotton means that the fabric doesn’t crease in wear.
It would make beautiful dresses, skirts, light-weight jackets, or trousers, and would also be suitable for home furnishings.
This is the monochrome option. A grey natural-coloured background with a twining design of stems and leaves, with small (about 2 cms) black birds. A sophisticated look. Also available in natural/ pink.
