Introduction to Bag Making with Julia – Workshop

Are you interested in making your own bags?
Julia, one of our Co-operative members, is also a professional bag maker.
Under the brand of @thebobbincase, her bags are sold in galleries across the UK and online.
You may have seen her wonderful Harris Tweed bags for sale in Gallery12, the shop next door to the Corner Patch!

Now she is going to share some of her skills with us in a full day workshop.
We will start be making a straightforward design (Julia is still deciding which of her many styles we will tackle) and hopefully Julia will be back in the future to help us expand out repertoire.

Full information on materials etc will be sent out in advance of the course.

All The Corner Patch workshops, classes and Sit & Sew sessions are held in the newly air-conditioned workroom above the shop.

Janome A100QDC sewing machines are provided for students’ use, along with rotary cutter, rulers and cutting mats.

Please bring your own basic sewing kit if possible. Tea and coffee making facilities are also provided.

Other dates are constantly being added; please contact us if you want to attend a particular course but you can’t make the available dates.
