We have stocked this Scuba Suede – effect fabric before and now it is back in a beautiful Teal Blue.
This is a light and flexible non-fray fabric that resembles natural suede.
As it doesn’t fray it makes lovely jackets and coats that don’t need lining and are simple and easy to make.
Check out the Tessuti pattern range – I have made the Verona and Lyon jackets in this fabric and they are perfect for changeable weather – when it gets warm, put your jacket in your bag. It takes up hardly any room and does crease.
When it gets chilly, pop it on as an extra layer.
The slight stretch from the 5% elastane makes it very comfortable in wear too.

It is also good for bags, cushions, trousers and other garments or home decor projects.
