Here she has turned her attention to coastal scenes and teamed up with Nutex Fabrics to give us this charming collection.

This fabric has a variety of coastal icons arranged in irregular blocks on a pale background. The illustrations are in typical Emma Ball style reminding us perhaps of seaside holidays as children and also feature lines of text which seem to detail the items found while beachcombing.
We have bold puffins, oystercatchers, crabs and lobsters – perhaps from today’s catch, seagulls, lighthouses, boats, deckchairs, and even a whale!

Bringing together all the elements of a beach holiday, this directional fabric is perfect to use in a quilting project, this would also work for home decor – cushions, or curtains – or garments. How cute in a summer skirt with a plain border, or teamed with one of the co-ordinating fabrics.
