Block of the Month 2022 – 23 with Jane Alcock

Jane Alcock is back at The Corner Patch to teach the 2022 – 23  Block of the Month. Over the months you will assemble a selection of different blocks, with small nine-patch blocks interspersed between them, gradually building up to a full size quilt.

This is a more advanced course than the 2021- 22 course and will include blocks such as the Mariner’s Compass, Cathedral Window, Dresden Plate, and more. It will be a great stepping stone for those who have completed the 2021 – 22 course, or the Beginner’s Nine-Patch course, and who want to extend their skills.

There will be two opportunities to join this course; the first group will begin in October 2022, the second group will commence in January 2023.

All The Corner Patch workshops, classes and Sit & Sew sessions are held in the newly air-conditioned workroom above the shop.

Janome A100QDC sewing machines are provided for students’ use, along with rotary cutter, rulers and cutting mats.

Please bring your own basic sewing kit if possible. Tea and coffee making facilities are also provided.

Other dates are constantly being added, but please contact us if you want to attend a particular course but you can’t make the available dates.
