Block of the Month 2025 with Jane Alcock

Jane is back for 2025!

How fortunate we are to secure dates for Jane Alcock to return to The Corner Patch with her Block of the Month 2025.

Jane is well known from her TV career with the Sewing Quarter, and now on YouTube as a presenter and demonstrator with ‘Natasha Makes’

As the previous owner of The Corner Patch, she retains a connection with the shop and we persuade her to teach with us whenever we can.

Jane has designed a new quilt for the 2015 Block of the Month, based on stars.

This has been designed to be a perfect ‘next steps’ course for students who have completed the Beginner’s Patchwork and Quilting Course, while still stretching the abilities of more experienced patchworkers.

Two parallel sessions are scheduled for each month. Students can choose the dates that are most convenient for them, but many prefer to opt for either the first or second session, build a relationship with their fellow students and it becomes a social sewing time too.

Students can also dip in and out of individual sessions if they want to learn a particular block.
