An ideal introduction to sewing with stretch for newbies, Emporia Astrid features minimal pattern pieces with a drop shoulder on the sleeve and large patch side pockets, plus a standard cuff and neckband.

A subtle curve to the body creates a fitted and feminine silhouette. You can make Astrid in a variety of stretch fabrics from sweatshirt for cosy jumpers and dresses, to ponte roma and French terry for summer dresses, and jersey for t-shirts; size up for a loose fitting and casual look, or take advantage of the stretch for a more fitted and smarter looking garment.
