This is a new cotton/linen blend fabric, this time from The Urban Whisper Collection by Zen Chic for Moda.
I love this blend – the fabric is 100% natural fibres so is comfortable to wear, keeps you cool in summer and warm in winter.
It has all the advantages, and the look and feel of linen, but it doesn’t crease like linen as soon as you move or sit down!
Urban Whisper has two lovely new designs; this is Graphite – a simple geometric design of oval shapes on a grey/brown background.
It would lend itself to a simple shape to show off the graphic design.
The fabric is more weighty than cotton, so again lends itself to structured shapes in shirts, skirts or dresses.

It would also be the perfect fabric to use for home furnishings or bags.
