Quick Sew sessions for children

Children’s classes are held once a month on a Saturday afternoon.
Places are very limited and these sessions are becoming increasingly popular, so please contact the shop to book a place for your child.

The price includes the materials requires to make a small project.

We also hold weekly sessions during the school summer holidays, and try to arrange more during half term holidays too when possible.

When children become confident sewers they may chose to make larger projects over more than one session. In this case there may be an additional charge to cover the cost of fabrics. We have children making their own patchwork quilts, Advent Calendars, etc. and in this case the fabric needs to be purchased as an additional cost.

All The Corner Patch workshops, classes and Sit & Sew sessions are held in the newly air-conditioned workroom above the shop.

Janome A100QDC sewing machines are provided for students’ use, along with rotary cutter, rulers and cutting mats.

Please bring your own basic sewing kit if possible. Tea and coffee making facilities are also provided.

Other dates are constantly being added, but please contact us if you want to attend a particular course but you can’t make the available dates.
