Sevenberry from Robert Kaufman – Dressmaking – Cotton Flax (Linen) – Small Bird – Pink Multi

A new dressmaking fabric to add to our steadily growing range.
This is a blend of cotton and flax (linen), giving a cool and comfortable natural fibre fabric, with a pleasing weight and drape. The natural fibres mean that the fabric is comfortable in the hottest weather and the presence of cotton means that the fabric doesn’t crease in wear.
It would make beautiful dresses, skirts, light-weight jackets, or trousers, and would also be suitable for home furnishings.
This is the pink option. A creamy natural-coloured background with a twining design of stems and leaves, with small fuchsia pink birds. The birds measure about 2.5cms across. Also available in grey / black colourway.
