I usually buy and stock fabrics that are made with natural fibres – but sometimes a fabric is just too good to miss, and at such a great price.

So here I give you Scuba Suede. It is 95% polyester, 5% elastane, so obviously is a ‘faux suede’. But it is gorgeous, with a lovely feel, so soft and flexible so will have a lovely drape and feel good in wear.
I have got two classic colours in stock: cinnamon, which is a soft light brown or tan colour, and this classic navy blue..
Both will look fabulous made with any of the non-fray patterns from Tessuti that we stock. I can see this made up as the Verona jacket (or any of the jacket patterns) as a perfect ‘between seasons’ garment when you need an extra layer, but not a thick coat.
It would also look good as a skirt, trousers, or is light and flexible enough for tunics or tops.
At 60 inches wide and this wonderful price, this is not to be missed.
