As soon as this lovely fresh range of Moda fabrics hit the shelves at The Corner Patch, I knew I had to design something for them, and so Fresh as a Daisy was born.
It is suitable for both beginners and more advanced sewers as the blocks are pieced in an easy but fun and unusual way.
In these fabrics it is a perfect project to welcome the longer days and spring weather.
Of course, it would work with other fabrics too and I think this would look stunning in a two colour design for a more masculine feel.

And, of course it can be made using any colour palette.

A beautiful new design from Wendy of Sweetpatches.
Stunning and spring-like in fabrics from this lovely Fresh as a Daisy collection from Moda fabrics, but it would also work with fabrics in other colours.
The block could be made into cushion covers, table mats and runners as well as this quilt.

It would be the perfect ‘next step’ project for those who have recently completed the beginners patchwork and quilting course.

All The Corner Patch workshops, classes and Sit & Sew sessions are held in the newly air-conditioned workroom above the shop.

Janome sewing machines are provided for students’ use, along with rotary cutter, rulers and cutting mats.

Please bring your own basic sewing kit if possible. Tea and coffee making facilities are also provided.

Other dates are constantly being added; please contact us if you want to attend a particular course but you can’t make the available dates.
