Colour Wheel by Annabel Wrigley is a tribute to colour!
A collection that embraces and enhances the feeling of joy that colour can bring. Annabel takes inspiration from Modern Quilts and Colour Wheel is the perfect collection to make fun, graphic quilts, home accessories, garments, bags and more.
Colour Wheel is not everyone’s choice, but I love it, and the digital print makes the colours pop.

This is the panel – perhaps the star of the collection. Five circles or ovals, in different sizes and segments of colour, are set against a dark teal/grey background with a strippy border.
I made a quick wallhanging by outlining the separate segments with quilting and then heavily quilting the background with concentric circles. A backing to match the stripped border, a bring pink binding, and it was done. It is perfect for the wall of your sewing wall – those colour combinations are there at a glance.
Also perfect for bags and home accessories, especially when paired with the coordinating fabrics. Or what about a play mat for a baby or toddler – those colours would keep them fascinated as they learn about their world.
