Sewing with Stretch Workshop

If you have joined our Dressmaking workshop you will have begun to sew with woven fabrics.

Sewing with stretch or knit fabrics requires some different techniques.

This workshop is an opportunity to try sewing with stretch.

This versatile garment can be made with a round neck, mock polo or cowl, as a dress or sweater and with different sleeve lengths.

And for those who need a dress with pockets, in seam pockets can be added too.

All The Corner Patch workshops, classes and Sit & Sew sessions are held in the newly air-conditioned workroom above the shop.

Janome A100QDC sewing machines are provided for students’ use, along with rotary cutter, rulers and cutting mats.

Please bring your own basic sewing kit if possible. Tea and coffee making facilities are also provided.

Other dates are constantly being added, but please contact us if you want to attend a particular course but you can’t make the available dates.
